WHAT IS an ECO-FRIENDLY SALON?

A salon with a conscience

Finch is an eco-friendly salon based in Whitley Bay. As well as offering the very best in hair colouring, styling and treatments, we recycle all hair, colour, and foil waste through the Green Salon Collective. All of our products are natural and cruelty-free, plus we have vegan options available. 
We also believe in equality and inclusivity. We say that anyone with hair length longer than their ears will be charged as long hair and anyone with ear length or above will be charged for short hair. This is a reflection of the time it takes to carry out our services and nothing more. We don’t mind what your style is or how you identify, we just want you to have great hair!

Finch is a salon that’s passionate about creating a greener planet for our future, doing what we can no matter how big or small. We are taking the steps to reduce waste and help save our planet. We will never claim to be perfect, but we’re doing everything possible to help build a better future and will educate ourselves and try to do more daily! We are trying our best to reuse, recycle and reduce wherever we can.

Meet our high trained stylists at Finch. They both trained and have worked in busy London Salons , racking up over 15 years of experience in modern cuts, balayage, colouring and styling. I had my second balayage with Amy and I’m so happy with the result. Amy is really knowledgeable and can quickly determine what would work best for your own hair type and natural colouring. Amy is the first stylist I’ve come across who gives professional advice whilst fully incorporating your preferences. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve had colour/cuts tailored to the stylists preferred way of doing things, not at Finch!.
