Patch tests are required by law a minimum of 48hrs before your first colour appointment. They take 30 seconds to do and involve putting a very small about of colour behind your ear which needs leaving for 48hrs to see if your skin reacts. Since all the colour products we use are PPD free, ammonia free and made from naturally derived ingredients, this is very rare, but it is still essential non the less.
Any regular customers that have had COVID or any of the COVID vaccines must carry out another patch test prior to any colour work, and all patch tests must be repeated every 6 months. We will keep track of all customers patch tests and will inform you when you’re due another, but please please ensure you pop in for this as we will have to re-schedule your colour appointment if not.
